L’Alliance Française du Manitoba, en partenariat avec l’Institut français, le Musée canadien pour les droits de la personne, Ici Manitoba et CBC Manitoba a le plaisir de vous présenter la 2ème édition de la Nuit des idées, demain le 31 janvier 2020, à partir de 17h au Musée canadien pour les droits de la personne. Cet événement mondial annuel est une célébration des idées qui rassemble des artistes, des universitaires, des chercheurs et des activistes. Le thème de cette année est « Être vivant », que vous pourrez explorer par le biais de discussions en groupe, de films, de danse et de musique. Découvrez de nouvelles perspectives, écoutez des personnes innovantes et participez à des conversations sur les moyens de vivre mieux grâce à l'art et à l'innovation. Ne ratez pas l'opportunité de prendre part à cette soirée multidisciplinaire qui s'annonce déjà inspirante! L'évènement est gratuit.                                                                                                                                          

The Alliance Française du Manitoba in partnership with the Institut Français, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, ICI Manitoba and CBC Manitoba will hold the second edition of The Night of Ideas tomorrow on January 31st 2020, starting 5PM, at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. This annual global event is a celebration of ideas that brings together artists, intellectuals, researchers and activists. This year’s theme is “Being Alive,” which you will be able to explore through panel discussions, film, dance and music. Discover new perspectives, hear from innovators and get involved in conversations about living better lives through art and innovation. Don't miss this opportunity to get involved in this inspiring evening! Session starting February 10th

Il ne vous reste plus que quelques jours pour vous inscrire à la session Winter 2 qui débutera la semaine du 10 février. Commencez bien l’année en améliorant votre français. Nous proposons des cours pour tous les âges et tous les niveaux. Que vous soyez débutant ou avancé, que vous vouliez pratiquer l’oral ou approfondir votre grammaire, vous trouverez sûrement un cours qui vous convient.

There are only a few days left to register to Winter 2 session courses, which will start the week of February 10th. Kick off a fresh new year by improving your French! We offer a wide range of classes for all ages and levels. Are you game for game night ?

Venez entre amis, en famille ou seul pour partager une soirée de fun autour de jeux de sociétés en français. Comme d’habitude, nous sélectionnerons des jeux inédits qui divertiront petits et grands. N’hésitez pas à apporter votre jeu préféré! La soirée est ouverte à tous, peu importe le niveau de français de chacun. On vous attend nombreux!                                

Come with your friends, family or by yourself to share a fun night with us by playing board games in French. As usual, we will pick a new selection of games that will entertain both kids and adults. Do not hesitate to bring your own favourite board game. This event is opened to everybody, no matter what your level of French is. See you there!

Carnival Club at the Alliance

Le mois prochain, c'est le Carnaval ! Pour l’occasion, l’Alliance Française a prévu pour vos enfants une série d’ateliers après l’école la semaine du 4 au 7 février entre 16h30 et 17h30. Au menu : tours de magie, activités créatives, jeux et pleins d’autres surprises ! Le samedi 8 février à 14h00, un spectacle de talents sera organisé pour clôturer la semaine festive en beauté. Le Club Carnaval est la façon idéale pour vos enfants de pratiquer le français tout en s’amusant.

In February, it will be Carnival time! For this occasion, the Alliance Française is planning a series of 60 minute Carnival-themed arts and crafts after-school activities, en français, from February 4th to 7th, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM! On the menu that week, some magic tricks, games, craft activities and many more surprises. To end that festive week, we invite all the kids who participated in the club to join us for a talent show on Saturday, 8th at 2 PM. The Carnival Club is the perfect way for them to practice French while having fun!
