The DELF and DALF are official diplomas from France’s national Ministry of Education. They are valid for life, awarded and recognized around the world. The DELF and DALF officially certify the ability of students to use the French language in real-life situations, based on the six competency levels identified within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). Passing the DELF or DALF exam depends on your level within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. A1 to B2 levels lead to the DELF and C1 to C2 levels lead to the DALF.
